Temporary and Temporary-to-Permanent (Temp-to-Perm) Placement
MedicalWorx can provide an individual for one day, a week or longer depending on the needs of our clients. Our temporary services are primarily used to cover vacations, FMLA leave, project staffing or unexpected increases in business.
Often times our clients find the temporary employees sent for short term assignments make great permanent additions to their staff. Any employee sent can be placed in the Temp-to-Perm program by simply notifying their MedicalWorx office. Once an employee has worked 520 hours they can be taken on as a permanent employee if the client chooses.
Permanent Placement can take place with two different services. Our most common is "test-driving" the employee for a period of time before formally extending an offer. This is also referred to as Temp-to-Perm Placement. Once an employee has reached 520 hours they are eligible to be a permanent placement at no charge to the client.
MedicalWorx also offers direct hire. This is a one time fee arrangement, typically on a contingency basis, in which the client will place the employee on their payroll once a candidate has been hired. Please contact your local office for fee structures associated with our direct hire programs.
Often times an organization will find a need for a team of employees to be placed for a period of time. This can be done on a temporary basis or as a long term arrangement. Many clients use a hybrid approach by utilizing some employees for a short period of time, some for a longer period of time and the remaining as permanent employees.
